Shunned Tottenham star Jose Mourinho ‘doesn’t trust’ set for exit talks

Shunned Tottenham goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga is reportedly set for talks over his future at the end of the season after being completely frozen out by Jose Mourinho.

Spurs look set to offload the Argentine, who has not got a look in behind Hugo Lloris and Joe Hart this term.

The 29-year-old was completely left out of Mourinho’s Premier League squad, with youngster Alfie Whiteman preferred.

The report adds that Mourinho ‘doesn’t trust’ the shot stopper, hence the decision to completely ignore him.

The Spurs chief is expected to have another shake-up of his squad this summer, after another disappointing campaign so far.

Gazzaniga and another shunned star, Danny Rose, will likely be the first out the door come the summer.

This season, the midfielder has started 14 Premier League games and made a further four substitute appearances. However, that gametime may begin to drop in the near future.

Sissoko recently hinted that he would be open to leaving Tottenham if the right offer arose. It seems his club are also planning for life without him.

According to Football Insider, Tottenham believe Oliver Skipp can take Sissoko’s role in the first team when he returns from his loan spell with Norwich City. Read more…
