Paul Pogba sends Man Utd fanbase wild with teasing message to Jadon Sancho

Manchester United supporters were sent into a frenzy on Tuesday afternoon, after Paul Pogba playfully hinted at the prospect of linking up with Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho.

Sancho was expected to join the Red Devils in the summer of 2020, but a move never materialised, leaving supporters disappointed at the missed opportunity to bring one of England’s most talented youngsters back to the Premier League.

And Man Utd midfielder Pogba playfully teased Red Devils all around the world when he appeared in a Pepsi advert with Sancho on social media, captioning the video ‘Finally on the same team,’ while tagging the 20-year-old and adding a cheeky winking emoji at the end.

Supporters fell over themselves with excitement in the comments, with many describing their World Cup winner as ‘Agent Pogba’, or suggesting that he is still working to convince the Dortmund star to make the switch in the summer.

90min reported in January that Man Utd remain interested in signing Sancho, despite the breakdown in negotiations back in the summer, and they believe they can even sign the winger for cheaper than the previously stated £100m.

And Pogba’s desire to see Sancho arrive at Old Trafford is even better news for supporters, as it suggests the Frenchman is planning on sticking around in Manchester beyond the summer.

The 27-year-old’s future has been a constant source of debate in recent years, with super-agent Mino Raiola hinting on more than one occasion that his client is destined to move on from the Premier League giants.

Pogba’s current deal is set to expire in the summer of 2022, leaving Man Utd with little time to negotiate an extension, while Europe’s elite begin to circle.

But the midfielder is believed to be ‘open’ to kicking off talks over a new deal, and could put pen to paper on a long-term contract that ties him to the club for the foreseeable future.
