According to The Sun, Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Benjamin Mendy from Manchester City in the summer of 2021. It has been reported by the British tabloid that the French giants are among the clubs who are monitoring the 26-year-old left-back.
Mendy has been on the books of City since 2017 when he joined from AS Monaco. Much was expected of the France international left-back when he arrived at the Etihad Stadium, but the 26-year-old has had injury problems, and when fit and available, he has not been guaranteed a place in the starting lineup.
According to WhoScored, the 26-year-old has made six appearances in the Premier League for City so far this Eason, scoring one goal in the process. Mendy has also played 78 minutes in the Champions League, three times in the FA Cup, and twice in the EFL Cup for Pep Guardiola’s side so far this campaign, according to WhoScored.
