Paper Talk: Man Utd, Chelsea in Raiola talks about stunning Prem transfer for star client; Contract sent to Liverpool man

Manchester United and Chelsea have entered transfer talks with super-agent Mino Raiola, while a Liverpool man receives a contract offer – both in all the latest Paper Talk.

Manchester United and Chelsea have recently held talks with super-agent Mino Raiola about a deal for AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, reports claim.

The Italian has fast become one of the world’s most coveted goalkeepers, despite still being at the tender age of 22.

Indeed, he already has a plethora of first-team experience, having made his Milan debut at the age of 16.

The Italy international also lined up against United in Thursday’s Europa League tie, amid swirling uncertainty over his future.

His contract expires this summer and Milan have yet to make a significant breakthrough in extension talks.

As such, there is a race going on parallel to the contract talks between interested, with United and Chelsea supposedly among them.

According to journalist Duncan Castles, both Premier League clubs have been in touch with Donnarumma’s notorious agent, Raiola.

Castles told the Transfer Window Podcast: “Our information is that both Chelsea and Manchester United have been in talks with Raiola about Donnarumma.

“It looks like Donnarumma has an opportunity to move to England, should he choose to.

“Accompanied by the commission that Raiola seeks and would want for free transfer of such a valuable asset.

“There is an opportunity for either club and others to secure Donnarumma on a longer-term contract without there being a fee.”

Moving to the Premier League would represent a significant step up for a goalkeeper who has established himself both in Europe and on the international stage, with 22 Italy caps already to his name.
