Looking to try and find a route into the Final Series spots this weekend, Dallas will welcome Austin to the Toyota Stadium in the early hours of Sunday.

Starting with the hosts, putting in what was a rugged display away at Western Conference title-chasers Seattle earlier in the week, some in Dallas’ camp would have been disappointed to have only left with a point. Snatching a last-gasp equalizer in stoppage time, Luchi Gonzalez’s men have continued on an eye-catching bounce over the past fortnight. Now sat within striking distance of jumping into the Final Series spots, The Toros have collected seven points from their last three MLS matchups. Including back-to-back 4-0 and 2-1 victories against LA Galaxy and Sporting KC, Dallas have continued to impress with their displays on home soil. Last seen at the Toyota Stadium hitting Los Angeles for four, Gonzalez’s side are unbeaten in each of their eight home fixtures since opening up the 2021 campaign.

As for the visitors, managing to hang onto what was a much-needed 3-2 victory against Houston earlier in the week, there is no doubt that Josh Wolff’s side will be desperate to build off of that result. Still firmly battling it out at the foot of the Western Conference in their maiden MLS campaign, The Green and Blacks did manage to bring an end to their three-match losing run on Thursday. However, knowing that they face a tough step when they make the trip to Dallas this weekend, America’s latest franchise have continued to struggle on the road this season. Last seen outside of Texas getting hit with a 2-0 defeat against Minnesota United, Wolff’s squad have collected just a pair of points from their last six MLS contests away from the Q2 Stadium.
